So how does this affect me immediately, you might ask? Well, we hope you will care about the quality of air you breathe in your home. The vast majority of production cabinetry (local and foreign) is loaded with high levels of urea formaldehyde, which is a carcinogen. This gas slowly vents into your homes air for several months. (Remember Katrina in 2005- all the people who became ill from living in FEMA trailers due to the formaldehyde in the trailer's components). Our high-quality, low-VOC and urea formaldehyde free materials come at no additional cost to you.
